Do you ever dream of endless fields of strawberries, lavender, and a beach with crystal blue water? Maybe add in some pink fog and a magical forest in the distance. Is it just me?
This is one of those magical, dreamt-up landscapes which is a conglomeration of my imagination and a heavy dose of inspiration from the Brittany coastline in NW France, a place very close to my heart. This tiny painting is a dreamy, joyful walk through that space. The color combination makes this one of my favorite tiny landscapes, my hope is that it brings you as much joy as it has brought me.
This original painting is acrylic on primed paper, it has rag (torn) edges, and comes unframed. It would look lovely with a thick matte and a frame. It is also painted within an internal boarder, meaning, I roughly a 1/4 inch boarder between the painting and the edge of the paper on the right, left, and lower sides of the painting (although some bleeding did occur).
Measures 5 inches wide by 7 inches tall (this particular painting measures just 1/16th shy of 7 inches)
Acrylic Paint on 140 lb paper
Rag (torn) edges
Artist signature in pencil in the lower right corner
This painting is sold unframed - but would look wonderful with a thick matte and a thin frame (a 9x12 inch frame and matte with a 5x7 opening, for example).
